TD-Vertical takes place in a unique and strange world. It's a race to the finish as players make their way to the twisting tower in the distance. Watch your footing as some elements of the buildings are not what they seem to be.
This level was created for my advanced level design class. The objective was to create a platformer level that utilized good pacing and difficulty progression. Although the map does not stick with the initial cartoon-esque art style that the Toon Doom Mod went with, its unique and new visuals work well with the platformer.
The map itself was a spin off of an unfinished UT3 map I created with visuals similar to the Mirror's Edge DLC, so bringing the style back and using it to create a platformer level seemed appropriate.
